We got tired of the apps too.
Built for the people the city forgot.
Infynite exists because connecting with people as an adult in the suburbs shouldn't require a 45-minute commute, a dating app, or a miracle.
How it started
Connection shouldn't be this hard.
I've moved cities more than once and changed schools more times than I can count — and through all of it, I never struggled to meet people, to find my crew, my community, my people.
Then adult life happened. A corporate opportunity took me away from friends and family in Sydney for two years. I was busy, I was focused. But I was also quietly lonely. And when I looked around at the suburbs I was living in, I realised there was almost nothing designed to help people like me connect. Every singles event and social night was in the CBD; nothing was built for the people who actually live on the outskirts of the city.
That question wouldn't leave me alone. So I started researching, talking to people, listening. Slowly, the idea for Infynite took shape — a space where people can meet authentically, without the pressure or the awkwardness, right in their own community, like it used to be.

How an event works
Pick your event
Browse by age group, suburb and date! You can either come to a Wingmate event or a Singles Event. We have mixers, games nights, run socials, and more.
Grab a ticket
Spots are limited on every event, so they do sell out.
A host runs the room
You're not left to find your own footing — the host keeps things moving and makes the first introductions.
Show up
Walk into a room of people who chose to be there too. That's the whole magic.

Questions people ask
Do I need to come alone? + −
Most people do — that's the point. You can bring a friend if it makes you more comfortable, just grab them a ticket too.
What age groups do you run? + −
Events are grouped roughly into 18–20, 20–35, 25–40 and 35–49 so the room has something in common.
What if I don't know anyone there? + −
Nobody does — that's normal. Hosts break the ice early and games or seating are set up to mix people up.
Can I get a refund? + −
Tickets are non-refundable, but they're transferable to a friend up to 24 hours before the event.
Which suburbs do you run events in? + −
Across suburbs in South Sydney and the Inner West — we're looking at adding more suburbs regularly.
Are Infynite's dating events in Sydney actually legit? + −
Yes — every event runs at a real, named venue (you'll see the address before you book), with a host on the ground the whole night. No mystery locations, no bait-and-switch.
How much do singles events in Sydney cost? + −
Most Infynite events run $25–$45 depending on the format and how early you book — Early Bird pricing is always cheaper than General Admission or On the Door. No membership, no subscription, no hidden matchmaking fee.
How is this different from speed dating? + −
Speed dating is a conveyor belt — a few minutes, a bell, next. Infynite events run two to four hours around a real activity, so conversations happen the way they actually do in life: unscripted, and for as long as they're working.
Do you run events outside of Sydney? + −
Right now Infynite runs live in the Sutherland Shire and South Sydney. We're expanding to Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Hobart and Canberra — join the waitlist on your city's page and we'll email you the moment it's live.
